On The Path

The life of one on path of Tao often involve living in a simple house, seeking to be in harmony with universe, doing simple work for very little money, coming home and meditating, not owning many possessions nor having much human contact other than family. Distractions take one away from being one with Tao. The follower is often a loner avoiding unnecessary contact with people. He refrains from talking too much. He follows the creed “If words do not improve the silence, better to remain silent.“ Most people would probably find him dull, but one committed to the way of the Tao is indifferent to their own popularity among the masses.
