Not All About Me

In today’s society and culture, it is almost considered a fault by some to be humble. Those without humility are those instead with delusions. Desperate for acceptance, they boast of their talents, real or otherwise. Brashness is looked upon favorably by segments of society, media.

In this ‘all about me culture, it can be most difficult to remain humble. Even some people who are humble are quite proud about saying that they are. Humility is the gentle breeze that rattles no leaves, one drop of many in the timeless oceans, a grain of sand that does not stick out among the many that seek recognition.

The humble person walks quietly but carries big stick. They are silent like the shark, ready to take action when needed without calling undue attention to themselves. A great hunter does not beat drums before going after tiger.
