A Delicate Thread

It is said that where you find yin, you find yang. Where you find beauty, you find ugliness. You shall find the long and the short, the peaceful and the unruly, the sound and the silence, the darkness and the light, the good along with the evil. Perfect harmony is found in such opposites. The orb rotates, the sun sets and the moon rises. It is the foolish who do not understand the balance of life, who believe they should encounter no problems. The teachings tell us not that if we follow the path we will have no problems. Instead it tells us to float around the obstacle like the river that flows around the stone in its path. It shows us to find an alternative way. Nothing could be more simple, yet it is so under utilized. The axis spins on a delicate thread that contains all.
