Epic

It has been said that our life is a movie and we are the director. This is true, but it is ironic that often the extras play a big role. Our film will not be perfect. It will have mistakes, suffer from bad lighting now and then, be in need of a re-write. Nonetheless, this is our film and we should be proud of it and do our best to make the best picture we can. Sometimes things get edited, left on the cutting room floor. This cannot be helped. We know from the Tao what the ultimate ending will be but how we reach that ending may be unknown. It is our chance to play a great death scene. Try not to be too melodramatic. We cannot all be Douglas Fairbanks, Errol Flynn, Jean Harlow, or Greta Garbo, but we can do the best we can. With a little luck, our personal movie can be a long epic and not a two-reeler short.
