The Great Roar

“Where is the Tao? Bring it to me so I can see it” said the master. The student was puzzled. “What is in your hands student?” asked the master. “Nothing” said the student. “Exactly” said the master. How can everything be Tao if we cannot find Tao? How can blood run through our bodies if we cannot see it? In the quiet, there is the great roar of Tao. We can hold Tao in our hands, yet grasp nothing. That is Tao. That is understanding the way of Tao.
