Who Are You?

Who are you? Really, who are you? You probably are not what you think you are. It is said we are three people; first, the kind of person we think we are, second, the kind of person others think we are, and third, the kind of person we really are. Since the first two involve judgment, we can never comprehend the third. Who is Roshi Hogan? What is Tao? Who am I is one of best questions. Gazing into mirror, what stares back at you? Is it you? Or just body that you are using for a while? Do you even want to know who you are?

The truth may scare or disappoint us. Often we live lives of deception to others and ourselves. Our names, our bodies are not us. Tao is not Tao. These are merely labels and illusions. It is easy and convenient to label. It is inconvenient and hard to go past labels and see beyond.
