Loss and Gain

In spring, the snow on a mountain melts. In its place, it has become the rushing water that cascades down its sides and into the river below. In every gain, there is loss. In every loss, there is gain. This is the way of Tao. Transformations are unstoppable. The only constant is change. We are powerless to prevent it. Those who welcome and embrace change walk easy. Those that seek to cling to the past have an uneasy mind.
