Senses

To make assumptions is to look through eyes that cannot see. It is to hear but not listen. It is to think without using one’s intelligence. Do not be fooled by the senses that may be giving you false information. Always seek the other side of words and actions. Try to see what is not there, hear what cannot be heard, understand what cannot be understood. Look beyond the obvious to see the obvious. These are the actions of a true sage.
