Rain Not Thunder

It was a beautiful day outside and Master Li decided to go for a walk. While walking through the forest he came upon a student who was reading a book about the Tao. Master Li grabbed the book from the student’s hands and flung it into a nearby river. The stunned student asked Master Li why he had done that. Master Li responded, “It is better to rain than to just make a lot of thunder.”
