Strange Turns

He sat in his house listening to the ticking clock one late fall afternoon. He closed his eyes and lay back in the chair. He examined his life, his successes; his failures. How often had something he though was good, turned out not so good, and how sometimes failures were the best thing that ever happened, leading him down a better path. The Tao Te Ching teaches us this truth.
