Complimentary

F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote that a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function. Yin and yang are not opposites, but complementary. It is wise to remember that what is up will go down and what will go down will rise up. Remembering these polarities will help to keep us balanced. We will not be caught off guard when the sands shift, the wind changes direction, and the calm sea becomes stormy.
