Lao Tzu said that sometimes breathing is easy, and sometimes breathing is hard. This can be related to how our chi is flowing. This can directly affect our breathing. When we take deep breaths (not exaggeratedly deep), this helps to calm us down both physically and mentally. It can help us keep an even keel when the storms are passing over us. Always remember that slow and sure is the way to go.
