Uncaptured

The Dao is the elusive butterfly that will always escape your net. What’s that sir? You are a successful big game hunter? You have great trophies of all your kills above the fireplace? You have the largest butterfly net in existence? It will not matter. Sir, let me remind you that verse 14 of the Tao Te Ching reminds us that looked for, it cannot be seen; listened for it cannot be heard, reached for, it cannot be grasped. The Dao is the ultimate game, the ultimate fugitive that cannot be captured. As fast as you may run, it will run of fly faster. As soon as you think you know what it looks like, it changes and rearranges. I can assure you at the end of the hunt, you will come up empty.
