The Passing of Water

The water of a river passes by and like time it cannot be retrieved. It doesn’t matter what kind of river it is; it could be the most beautiful, scenic river we have ever seen, or it could be a dark, foreboding river that we would be most hesitant to put a finger in. All rivers are the same in that regard. People who long for long passed water are wasting their time. Those who still curse the water that splashed upon their feet long ago are also wasting their time. All we have now is the water in front of us.
