Seeing Not Always Believing

We think we think, but we don’t think. We think we see, but we don’t see. Looking is not seeing. Mirages are aplenty in this world of deserts, real vision is rare. One who sees the Dao doesn’t really see the Dao of course, but can see it the same. The illusions the charlatans of the world try to play are never ceasing. If we are one with the Dao, we see past the mirages, the charades, and the illusions and have real vision.
