A Glass of Water

If you were walking through a desert of hot sun and relentless sand for hours, your throat parched, how much would you pay for a cold glass of water sir? My guess is you would be let’s say, most generous, with you money. Now how much would you pay if you were stumbling around the world in an illusion, suffering from poor decision making and a lack of insight? Once again it is most likely you would be quite willing to pay a substantial price. However, the good news is that the wisdom of the Dao is free and readily available to those who wish to partake. The Dao is a cold glass of water that refreshes and it comes from a well deep in the ground that will never run dry. All you have to do is be willing to drink it. So the next time you are in the mood for some serious drinking, drink in the Dao.
