Smokestacks

The wind blows the black smoke from the smokestacks first one way and then another. It is all left to random chance much like life itself. The sky is a deep orange as the sun falls from the sky and the moon says hello. Trying to grab the smoke, the sun, or the moon is fruitless. Trying to capture the Dao is futile. The most vivid photographs are the ones developed in the mind. It is a shame that too many people spend too much time in their own personal darkroom.
