Luck

We all know one of those types of people, perhaps you are one of them; the kind who fall into a pile of, well, something, and come out smelling like a rose. They seem to get all the breaks, all the luck. Why are some people luckier than others? Why are some born with a silver spoon while others are born with a tarnished one or no spoon at all? They say the harder you work, the luckier you get, but I have known many who work hard, yet the sunshine of the fates never shine upon them. The lucky probably never think about such things while the unlucky may go mad with insanity if they think about it too much. A Buddhist would urge compassionate joy should be felt toward those with by those without. That is a great deal to ask sir. If you cannot get yourself to that level, better than to learn to play life as it lies without asking too many why’s and be grateful for the things you do have which we may be overlooking.
