Basecamp

In the distance you can hear it, the susurrus of the Dao calling to you. If you are fortunate, you find it somewhere, anywhere. One must keep their eyes open even though you cannot see it, one must keep their ears to the ground even though you cannot hear it; one must be ready to pounce even if you cannot grab it. It is in the dusk just beyond sight whose form cannot be made out, it is merely a shadow off in the distance; it is in the corner of the mind just beyond thought, a place where you may have never traveled before; uncharted waters, and it is on the other side of the mountain just beyond our basecamp.
