The snow flies. The wind blows. It is deathly quiet. We’ve come so far but don’t know why. From the mountain top we can see many things yet see nothing at all. The sunlight off the snow is blinding yet illuminating. The nights are bone-chilling. At the top of the mountain, we turned over a stone in our search for peace. Alas, it was not there. If we were wise, we would have brought some peace up the mountain with us.
