The world is the Sahara; Death Valley. It makes for a long dry trip. It you aren’t careful, you will run low or out of provisions. The brutal daytime heat; it makes one long for a cold drink of wisdom; of peace and tranquility. For real refreshment, drink in the Dao, straight up or on the rocks; shaken not stirred. The more you take, the more it has to give. The well never runs dry, the bar never has a last call. So many things are like drinking salt water; they make you even thirstier. They overpromise and under-deliver.
