Reality Check

I think you have to ask yourself sometimes if you are really in touch with reality…in the sense that you watch videos, television, your electronic device or something else. You watch something happening but it’s not happening to you. You are merely a bystander. There is a wall between you and what you are seeing. If you go for a walk on the beach, or in the forest, or anywhere for that matter, that wall is no longer there. You are experiencing the experience, not just observing it. When we lose our personal experiences, we become numb to everything. We are stuck in a sickly, gray dark room with the shades pulled down. We no longer have a direct experience with the universe.
